ONSITE CAMPING
As in past years,
onsite camping is available on the farm
fields of D2R2. There is no electricity
or running water but the
river is a great way to cool down!
. Showers (and shuttles) will be
provided on Saturday at the local high
school (bring towels and toiletries).
There will be port-a-pots on site. Group
pizza orders will be placed Friday
evening and we are working on permission
for a group campfire. Register for a
campsite at
BikeReg.
Blue Heron Farm
Cozy and comfortable
accommodations in a pristine and
private country setting.
Blue Heron Farm is unique in
offering five fully furnished
and equipped houses, each with
its own charming décor, and
accommodating groups of 3 to 8
persons. Stay on our 140 Acre
Certified Organic working farm
for as few as two nights to as
many as your schedule allows.
For larger groups, renting a
house allows you to save on
multiple motel rooms and affords
a high degree of privacy and
convenience. Full kitchens also
eliminate the need to eat out
three meals a day if you choose.
At this “top of the mountain,
end of the road” location,
visitors can experience the
freedom of hiking on woods
trails or lightly traveled dead
end roads, while enjoying long
distance views of the
surrounding hills, and an
exceptional view of the night
sky free of light pollution.
Guests can participate in daily
farm activities or just watch
while we produce maple syrup, or
tend to our beautiful Norwegian
Fjord horses and playful Boer
goats. Per night rates vary
depending on the accommodation
and length of stay, so please
visit our web site for detailed
information.
