which could be a good place for landowners and professionals alike to ask
questions and find out what’s going on at the local level.

related to the 1998 ice storm in the northern New England area but much of it is
relevant to this storm.  There are some good technical publications that foresters
might find helpful in assessing woodlot damage.  The Forest Service will continue
to post articles to the site so check back from time to time.
