Photos from our
"You're Getting Warmer"
Non-event Event

March 22nd was just the FIRST Saturday of spring. There are plenty of spring weekends ahead.
It's never too late to go out and enjoy your land!
We are still looking for more photos to highlight.
Take a photo of your special slice of Western Mass and send it to info@franklinlandtrust.org

Tulip Lilly Tub

"Hello Franklin Land Trust,

I was greatly inspired by your March 22 fund raising campaign. This is precisely the kind of thinking that can save us from the perfect storm of a crumbling economy and global warming.

I LOVED someone encouraging me to stay home and enjoy my little piece of heaven, so I did and ended up passing the day in my favorite manner. I started a pastel painting of a tub of tulips and lilies that I had purchased the day before from our local hardware store (close enough to walk to), and which had been assembled by Ashfield florist, Robyn Crowningshield. Local  subject matter through and through.

You requested we send our photos of March 22, so I am attaching a couple of mine. One is of my March 22 creation and the other is of the subject matter with the painting in background. Feel free to use either in your PR or whatever if it will help with the cause."

"Thanks for the suggestion. I probably would have spent the day staying at home and wandering around Conway with my dog even without your suggestion. However, the camera came with us because of your suggestion. The dog allowed a few photos, but, given the great weather, we were pretty much on the fast prowl about town.  Here are two of the photos that we both like."
