Wendy Sweetser Ferris
Director of Community Outreach
Wendy Sweetser Ferris is the Director of Community Outreach, helping build awareness and support for land conservation and offering opportunities for landowners to learn more about how land conservation can help achieve their goals.
Previously, Wendy worked for The Trustees of Reservations as the Director of the Highland Communities Initiative, a program dedicated to building community capacity for conservation and community preservation in the 38 towns west of the Connecticut River Valley.
Wendy received her masters’ degree in regional planning from UMass Amherst where she focused on community preservation issues in rural Massachusetts. She lives in Shelburne Falls with her husband and son, and enjoys gardening, biking, and skiing the woods of Franklin County.
