VALLEY GIVES DAY: May 1, 2018
Healthy Lands, Healthy Communities
Smart land conservation strengthens our communities in many ways – protecting our food supply, our water sources, our recreational resources and even mitigating the impacts of climate change, just to name a few.
But protected landscapes are also at the very core of the values and identity of the communities where we live, preserving local culture and our rural way of life.
From public forests and local parks to protected farms – so much of what we love and appreciate about this place where we live and call home is supported by protected landscapes.
Each day, development threatens this home and endangers the water, air, and lands that our children will inherit.
The Franklin Land Trust works to protect these places and ensure that healthy lands are part of everyone’s lives.
But to continue to make this happen, we need your help!
