Vol·un·teer:  [vol·uhn∙teer] –n.
One of life’s most valuable
natural resources.

More than $100,000 in volunteer time has been donated to the Franklin Land Trust over the past 10 years.  Without volunteers, the Franklin Land Trust would not have been able to grow as an organization leading to the protection of more than 18,000 acres of our beautiful working landscapes.  Just last year, about 160  individuals and businesses either volunteered time or donated in-kind services to the land trust.

The Franklin Land Trust staff is busy preparing for our annual events.  For each of these events, we use approximately 40 and 60 volunteers.  Our events bring together supporters of the land trust in celebration and recognition of the exceptional working landscapes through the greater Franklin County area.

Our events this year include:

“The Art of Fine Living”—May 1st
FLT’s annual live and silent auction,

“A Weekend in the Country” June 26th, and 27th,
FLT’s 22nd annual Farm and Garden Tour,

“D2R2—Deerfield Dirt Road Randonnee”
FLT’s epic cycling event celebrating
300 years of carriage roads in western Massachusetts.

In addition, we have many exciting opportunities available for volunteers to work on the land with us!!!

We have a wide variety of volunteer needs we are trying to fill. If you are ready, willing and able to help us this year, please fill out the form below.

Any volunteer service you can give us will be greatly appreciated and time well spent in support of a worthy cause.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope you will join us as a volunteer this year.

Volunteer benefits include an annual basic membership in the FLT.

 free admittance to FLT workshops,

free admission to events for which you volunteer,

the FLT newsletter,

advance notice and invitation to special events including our annual member’s picnic.

If you know others who may like to volunteer, please share this information and ask them to contact Liz Kidder at lkidder@franklinlandtrust.org or by calling 413-625-9151 .
