Learn How to Get Paid for Managing Your Forest Land-NRCS Webinar

If you own forest land in Massachusetts, you might be interested in this webinar that will show you how to access funding opportunities for conservation and stewardship.
The webinar is hosted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) on Monday February 5, 2024 at 6pm.
You will learn about the Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP), which pays you to maintain and improve your forest management practices through a five-year contract. You will also hear from a MA forest landowner who has successfully enrolled in CSP and benefited from the program.
In addition, you will get updates on the Massachusetts Forest Stewardship Program (FSP) and other programs offered by the DCR’s Working Forest Initiative. These programs can help you plan, protect, and enhance your forest resources.
Don’t miss this chance to learn about managing your forest land and how it can contribute to the climate and conservation goals of the state and the nation. Register by Friday, February 2, 2024 and contact Kate Parsons at kate.parsons@usda.gov if you have any questions.
