A conference for Municipal Officials, General Public, Foresters, Natural Resource Professionals, Land Trusts, and Civic Groups
Free and open to the public with lunch provided.
- Engaging speakers present local, state, and regional perspectives on town forests. Talks on chestnut restoration, Champion Tree program, bird habitat
and more. - Field tour of the Town of Wilbraham’s forestlands highlights methods and results of sustainable management activities and showcase the significant
impacts of recent natural disturbances. - Afternoon demonstrations offered by local wood and natural resource-based businesses, conservation organizations, and recreational groups.
