Wednesdays on the Trail – Spring Hiking Series – May
This spring, join FLT staff and community members on a series of moderately-paced hikes around Franklin County. Together we’ll explore properties protected for public use by Voluntary Public Access easements, made possible by a program facilitated by FLT with the support of Mass DCR and the NRCS.
Attendance will be capped at 25 people, and adherence to FLT’s COVID-19 safety protocols is required.
Pre-registration is required for all participants.
Enjoy access to Conway’s South River, miles of maintained trails and roads for hiking and birding, and just over 200 acres open for hunting. This mostly forested property has been managed for the last 20 years to increase habitat for birds and other wildlife through programs such as MA DCR Forest Stewardship Program, Foresters for the Birds and the NRCS EQIP program.
