Have you ever thought about the role that trees play in the life of bees? Join the Greenfield Tree Committee to learn more about bees, trees and what you can do to support native pollinators at a free talk by Joan Milam, a research scientist and UMass faculty member who focuses on the relationship between native bees and trees. You’ll also learn more about tree planting initiatives in Greenfield. You can sign up to be a volunteer tree steward or to get a free tree for your yard.

Franklin Land Trust is partnering with the Greenfield Tree Committee, the City of Greenfield, the MA Department of Conservation and Recreation, and the U.S Forest Service to plant 800 trees in along city streets in Greenfield by 2021. Email info@franklinlandtrust.org to get involved!
