Winter Nature Walk with Naturalist Aimee Gelinas

Tuesday, February 21st

Walnut Hill Woods, Buckland

Suggested donation $5/person or $10/family

Kids, families and community members are invited to join naturalist guide and Tamarack Hollow Director Aimee Gelinas for a winter nature walk at one of FLT’s newest properties. Look for signs of wildlife, explore how birds and animals survive in winter, and learn how to identify a tree with no leaves! Snowshoe rentals will be available for $5. Kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Come prepared for winter conditions. There are no facilities on site. The pace of the hike will be slow but we will be ascending a steep trail.

Aimee Gelinas is the Founder / Director of Tamarack Hollow Nature & Cultural Center in Windsor, MA. She has been performing, teaching, developing curriculum and facilitating educational programs for over 22 years.
