Woodlands for Wildlife Walk

Saturday, November 7, 2015
10AM
Walt Cudnohufsky’s Home and Office,
455 Bug Hill Rd., Ashfield
Free and open to all.

This easy field walk will highlight forest management work that enhances bird and wildlife habitat and introduce you to Foresters for the Birds, a new program designed help local landowners improve wildlife habitat in their woodlands, particularly for birds! Walt Cudnohufsky, his consulting
forester, Massachusetts Audubon, and the DCR Service Forestry program will team up to talk about declining bird populations, managing forests for wildlife,
and what you can do to improve bird and wildlife habitat in your woods.

The Western Massachusetts Woodlands for Wildlife partnership was formed to help local landowners build healthier woodlands and wildlife habitat. Through
the enhancement of bird habitat, landowners can help a wide variety of wildlife, creating healthy forests for generations to come.
