At the Franklin Land Trust, we know that conservation goes beyond simply restricting development on a parcel of land. While legal conservation tools are an essential part of our mission, the work begins once the land is secured. We are committed to protecting and restoring habitats, while also engaging our local community. We feel it is essential to help our neighbors understand how each of us plays an important role in our greater ecosystem.
On land owned by FLT, we offer both ideas and demonstrations to show landowners how they can manage their own land sustainably. These on-the-ground demonstrations are designed to provide valuable insights into land stewardship and management practices.
