You don't have to wait until December 1st to give! If you decide to make your contribution early, your gift will still count toward the $10,000 #GivingTuesday challenge match!
What Does Conservation Mean to you?
We asked and you responded! For this #Giving Tuesday, we wanted to know why Franklin Land Trust’s conservation work matters to you. We heard from members, friends, neighbors, and staff – all with very different perspectives on the importance of land conservation. From fighting climate change and protecting wildlife to providing access to nature and healthy food, we appreciate that conserving land has different meanings for different people. But one thing everyone shares is a deep commitment to protecting the land we love - the land that sustains us.
For some, conserved land matters most because being outside is inspiring, energizing, and peaceful. For others, conserved land means having access to healthy food from farms or clean air and water from conserved forests. We learned that protecting land to fight climate change matters to you, as does providing access to natural places for hiking, biking, and hunting. You see the value of bringing conservation into communities, both rural and urban, by creating natural spaces where people live.
As we face new hopes and unprecedented challenges in the months and year ahead, your voice matters to us. Franklin Land Trust works every day to conserve land for you, your family, and for future generations - for the reasons that matter most to you!
Please consider making a gift for land that sustains us this #GivingTuesday. If your gift arrives before midnight on November 30th, it will be matched up to $10,000 by a generous local supporter with a deep commitment to protecting the land we all love!
Thank you in advance for your support!
