Join the Buckland Historical Society on Friday, August 14 at the newly restored 1780 Wilder Homestead Barn for a screening of Rawn Fulton’s acclaimed documentary Root, Hog, or DieFilmed in 1973 across hilltowns of western Massachusetts and southern Vermont, meet our agrarian elders face-to-face and discover the roots of today’s local agriculture, CSAs, and micro-farming movements.

You will recognize several local family farm names, as subsequent generations have continued to work the farms. The screening will be introduced by filmmaker Rawn Fulton and followed by a discussion and refreshments, available by donation. All proceeds will benefit the Buckland Historical Society.
