Enjoy access to Conway’s South River, miles of maintained trails and roads for hiking and birding, and just over 200 acres open for hunting. This mostly forested property has been managed for the last 20 years to increase habitat for birds and other wildlife through programs such as MA DCR Forest Stewardship Program, Foresters for the Birds and the NRCS EQIP program.
Hiking Difficulty: moderate
Location: Reed’s Bridge Road, Conway. From the center of Conway, take Elm Street past Fields Memorial Library, continue on to Reed’s Bridge Road. Follow for approximately .6 miles. The sign for this public access area will be on your right. The access area is on both sides of the road. Parking is along the side of the road, or at the log landing. Please do not block any gates when parking.
