
Emily Boss is the Community Conservation Program Manager at Franklin Land Trust. She works with families, individuals and farms to conserve their land. Emily received an MS in Forest Resources from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and is a licensed forester (MA LF #410). She is Director of the Massachusetts Woodlands Institute, a partner non-profit of FLT whose mission is to maintain the environment and character of the woodlands of Massachusetts, conserve and enhance forest resources and foster community economic development. Emily formerly worked for the Massachusetts Woodlands Cooperative, a woodland owner coop providing Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) “green certification” for member lands. Emily lives in Greenfield. She loves to read, take hikes and play games in her spare time.
